Austin is a 9-year-old travel baseball player from North Louisiana. He loves everything about baseball: the pressure of a big at-bat, the work that happens before game day, the gear, the friendships, and the moments that make everybody in the dugout laugh.
He is a switch-hitter who has spent more than a year developing his swing from the left side. That challenge says a lot about how he approaches the game—he is willing to be uncomfortable, put in the repetitions, and keep building a skill until it becomes part of who he is as a player.
